Info: This Item is used to restore mana in the middle of a battle.
Boots of Speed
Increases your movement speed by 60 when worn. Does not stack with Boots of Speed or Boots of the Nimble feet.

Info: This Item increases your speed when running, it makes it easier to chase other rangers and it will increase your gold income too because you will get back in action faster after you die and will have a shorter time you're of combat.
Hunters Hall / Graveyard
Sobi Mask
Increases the Hero's rate of mana regeneration by 50% when worn.

Info: This Item increases your mana regeneration by 50%. If you are good at dodging attacks this is a good item to buy because wihout dying you isn't going to get back to full mana the extra mana regeneraton can be very handy.
Talisman of Strength
Heals 20 hit points to all friendly units around the Hero when used. 60 Seconds cooldown.

Info: Heals all friendly units around you for 20 HP, this is handy against people using Wavehammer.
Talisman of Wisdom
This magical artifact can restore 5 mana of all nearby friendly units. 60 seconds cooldown.

Info: This item is handy if you are good at dodging attacks because you won't get the full mana boost when you die. If you are together with other players a lot this item can be a good team support. A good tips is to use the item and then give it over to your ally who also uses it and gives it back. You both will get +10 mana.
Amulet of Expertise
Gives you experience over time. Gives 2 experience every second. Does not stack.

Info: This item is handy when you are underleveled, focus on dodging and make sure you don't die. When you reach level 15 sell the item.
Amulet of Protection
Protects you from death, 3 minutes cooldown.
"It's immune to swords, arrows, spears, flames, cannonballs, magic, frost, bee stings, paper cuts, little wooden sticks..."

Info: This item is good if you got all the items you need to but still got gold to spend. Because of this you should wait untill late game with buying this item.
Boots of the Nimble Feet
Increases the movement speed of the Hero by 100 when worn. Does not stack with Boots of Speed or Boots of the Nimble Feet.

Info: The better version of Boots of Speed. It increases you movement speed dramaticly and minimizes downtime.
Shield of Immortality
Reduces the respawning time by 50%. Does not stack.

Price:
35 gold
Info: Cheap late game item that greatly reduces your downtime. You should wait until late game because in the beginning the respawning time is short anyway.
Frost Insignia
This artifact can be used to make a Frost Nova dealing 5 damage to nearby enemy units and freezing all heroes for 2 seconds. The frozen heroes cannot attack or move.

Info: Probably the best item in the game for hero killing. It freezes all enemy units whithin 500 range. Use it then folow up with Volley or a normal attack.

Hearthstone
Teleports you home to your base.
Cooldown: 35 seconds

Info: A useful core item that make you able to get out of dangerous situations.

Staff of Waves
Can be used to create a wave, dealing 10 damage to units in a line.

Price:
20 gold
Info: A useful core item that make you able to do very effective creeping.
Low mana cost (1) and medium cooldown makes this a must-have when you are creeping.
Poison Dart Blowpipe
This blowpipe was made by the ancient troll tribes. The poisoned darts it shoots deal 5 initial damage and 2 damage every 3 seconds for 15 seconds and slows the target.

Info: The slow of this makes the enemy rangers easier to hit with attacks and the damage can be useful if you have other damage items.
Spider Ring
This magical ring was made by the Crypt Lord Anub'arak and is capable of entrapping enemy units to the ground with sticky web for one second.

Info: This item can be used to trap the enemy and then follow up by using a normal attack or with Volley.
Horn of Cenarius
This magical horn can be used to spawn an Ancient in your base. To do this you have to gather magical energies by killing enemy creeps and rangers untill you have 100 charges. Slain ranger grants 10 points and creep grants 1.

Info: Late game item to kill the enemy towers. If you are going to buy this item make sure you have Staff of Waves and its highly recomanded with Arcane Force if you are going to get a lot of Ancients summoned.
Demon Trinket
Calls an Infernal down from the sky, dealing 10 damage and stunning enemy land units for 1 second in an area. The Infernal lasts 60 seconds.

Info: Late game item to kill the enemy towers. If you don't got creeping spells/items you can buy this instead of Horn of Cenarius to provide tower attacking.
Druid Staff
Increases the mana capacity of the Hero by 5 when worn.

Info: Nice item to have if you often run low on mana, buy sobi mask and you'll have a great mana pool.
Shaman Staff
Increases the mana capacity of the Hero by 10 when worn.

Arcane Tome
This magical tome allows you to control the winds magic and cast Arcane Force. Arcane Force deals 10 damage to all enemy units close to you.

Tome of Darkness
This magical tome allows you to control the winds magic and cast Soul Steal. This dark spell drains the soul out of nearby enemy creeps killing them and sending the soul to you healing 5 health.

This is cheaper than Thorium axe + Shaman Staff and only takes up one bag slot so if you plan on getting a melee weapon and a shaman/druid staff buy this instead.

A long spear, making you able to attack in melee. Deals 25 damage. This weapon have longer range than a normal melee weapon.
You can only have one melee weapon

If you want to creep much with your weapon this is your best choise.
Arcanite forged Battleaxe

A two handed axe, making you able to attack in melee. Deals 40 damage.

Imperial Shield

A shield from the footmen soldiers of the Humans. Increases your armor by 5 and health by 15.

Shield
A shield infused with dark magic. It is given from necromancers to Death Knights when they have proven themselves worthy.
Increases your armor by 8 and health by 20.

A shield made by the master blacksmiths of the dwarfs in Ironforge.
Increases your armor by 10 and health by 30.

Storm Hammer
A hammer made by the dwarf Mountain Kings. This artifact allows the wearer to smash the ground dealing 25 damage to all surrounding units and slow them for 10 seconds.

Info: A very powerful damage item, combine this with a Staff of the Waves to do the dangerous Wavehammer strategy. See the tactics section for more information about the Wavehammer strategy.

Flame Gauntlet - [V]
Engulfs the Hero in fire which deals 1 damage per second to nearby enemy land units.

Info: This item is handy to prevent getting stuck because of creeps. If you hit 2 creeps on the wave you can let the 2 remaining die from Flame Gauntlet.
Doom Gauntlet - [W]
     Requires:
          Flame Gauntlet

Engulfs the Hero in fire which deals 3 damage per second to nearby enemy land units. When used you'll punch units in front of you knocking them back and deal 15 damage.

Info: Use this item to knock your opponent away.
Muradin's Hammer
This hammer was found a few years after Muradin's death. It is charged with static power.

     Requires:
          Storm Hammer
          Orb of Lightning


When used your ranger hurls the hammer stunning units in the AoE for 2 seconds and deal 35 damage to them.

Info: This item is a sure kill on everyone not having a shield, there is no way to survive! With 1 mana cost, 1200 range, 35 damage, 250 AoE, 2 second stun and 6 seconds cooldown this is a great item.

Tauren Vendor
Swap Dagger
This dagger can be used at a target enemy unit and you'll swap positions. 1,5 seconds casting time.

Info: If you are stuck between creeps fun to swap positions with your opponent or you can set up a totem and then swap your enemy into the stun range. This item can be used in the swapsweep tactic. See the tactics section.
Shield of Reflection
Shield
This shield is enchanted with warding magic making it more solid than a diamond.

Increases your health by 30 armor by 10 and makes you invulnerable for 1.5 seconds when used.

Info: This item got the unique ability to make yourself invulnarable to attacks and spells. It is so annoying to shoot at someone and the arrow is 1cm away from he's head but... he used Shield of Reflection, and snagged you with a multishot. 
Cairne's Tremor Totem
Drops a totem on the ground that stuns all nearby enemy units for 1 second and deals 8 damage to them every 3 seconds. The totem lasts 21 seconds.

Info: This item can be used for creeping, just set it at one of the lanes and it will kill all creeps there. Or you can set it out in the middle of a battle with another ranger to stun if he enters the AoE.
Spell upgrade: Attack
Upgrades your attack reducing its cooldown by 1 second.

Info: This item is of course a late game item because you need to be level 15 to buy it. It will upgrade your attack reducing its cooldown.
Spell upgrade: Volley - [D]
Decreases the mana cost of your Volley spell by 1 and increases the AoE by 25
Requires level 15

Info: This item is very handy if you use volley a lot because the lowered mana cost and the increased AoE will make you able to cast it more often and hit more with it.
Spell upgrade: Stealth
Removes the movement speed reduction of your stealth spell
Requires level 15

Info: This item is of course a late game item because you need to be level 15 to buy it. It make your stealth spell much better because you wont be slowed at all.
Makes a good mix with Boots of the Nimble feet.
Spell upgrade: Multishot - [V]
Reduces the cooldown of your Multishot spell by 15 seconds.

Info: This upgrade is a little more expensive than the other three, and with a good reason. The 15 second cooldown reducement will allow you to get a lot of extra kills. If you ding lv 15 you should get this item!
Cairne's Axe - [X]
Melee Weapon
This axe was made for Cairne by the best orc blacksmiths and infused by the magic of their strongest shaman.

While attacking with this melee weapon a shockwave bursts out of this axe dealing 35 damage and it might stun for 1 second.

Info: This item mixes well up with Muradin's Hammer. With both you'll kill an enemy ranger even with the best shield (35+35 damage).
Staff of Teleportation
A magical staff with a rare gem that is said to contain teleportaiton abilities.

 
   Requires:
          Hearthstone
          Druid Staff or Shaman Staff


Increases your mana by 5 if you added the Hearthstone to a Druid staff and 10 if you added it to a Shaman staff. It can be used to teleport back to your base.
Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Info: Is the 35 seconds cooldown on Hearthstone killig you. Are you running out of mana or bag space? This item combines the Hearthstone and a staff into one giving you one extra bag space and reduces the cooldown to 10 seconds.

When you die you will unleash a massive explosion damaging nearby enemies for 25 damage and stunning them for 2 seconds.

Info: If your enemy focuses on melee attacks you can buy this item to get a kill every time he tries to melee pawn you as long he is hit by a staff of the waves or just by the creeps.
Goblin Vendor
Frost wyrm whelp
Gives you a frost wyrm whelp as a pet. It can cast:
Cold Attack - The attacks slows the opponent by 50% for 2 seconds.
Freezing Breath - Deals 35 damage to units in front of the frost wyrm whelp and slows them by 50% for 3 seconds.
Deep freeze - Every attack its a 20% chance to freeze the target for 1 second.

Info: This item can be handy if you are running out of bag space and got a little to much money. It is great both for creeping and hero killing. The slow effect is handy to make rangers easier targets and the Freezing Breath can take a serious bite out of their health pool.
Orb of Lightning
This orb allows you to create a stream of ball lightnings dealing 5 damage per ball.

Price:
40 gold
Info: This item allows you to creep while fighting another player as you can activate the item and then let the ball lightnings kill creeps while you focus on killing your enemy.
Fake Blood
This bottle with fake blood is made by a group of Assassins who tricked their enemies by playing dead and then strike with a deadly blow.
When used you'll play dead to trick your enemies.

Info: This is a cheap and fun item that can give you a few kills. It works best if your opponent uses ice beam or some move that hit you but you survive because you have a shield. You play dead but strike them with a supprise attack.
Super hot Chili
When eaten it makes you breath fire dealing 10 damage to enemy units in front of you. It will set them on fire dealing 2 extra damage per second for 3 seconds.

Rocket Boots
A pair of boots invented by the goblins. It has inserted rockets making the user able to fly for a short period of time.

          Boots of Speed or Boots of the Nimble Feet


When used you'll leap into the air dodging all attacks. You can jump over things too. In addition it increases the movement speed of the Hero by 100/60 when worn.
Does not stack with Boots of Speed, Boots of the Nimble Feet or Rocket Boots.

Info: This item makes you able to fly over enemies and you'll be invulnerable when you are up in the air. This item works much like Shield of Reflection but this one allows you to fly over enemies making it good for getting out if you're stuck between creeps too. In addition it cost only 1 mana to use and SoR use 4.
You can't use spells when you are up in the air though.
The speed bonus is dependent of what boots you used to make Rocket Boots.
Frost Arrows - [V]
Gives your attack a 35% chance to cause a frost nova where it lands slowing enemy units in 250 AoE for 5 seconds.

Having more than one special arrow type does not increase the chance for getting a special arrow on your attack.

Info: This item can be handy if your opponent is good at dodging attacks without abilities because this will slow his movement speed by as much as 80% for 5 seconds!
Dark Arrows
Gives your attack a 35% chance to summon a skeleton warrior where the arrow lands.

Having more than one special arrow type does not increase the chance for getting a special arrow on your attack.

Info: If you want an arrow type for creeping this is your best shot. The skeleton warriors got 3-4 damage 20 HP and the Fear ability. Fear makes the skeleton warriors attack get 15% chance to make the target freeze in fear for 1 second.
If the opponent kills the skeleton he'll get 1 gold but the skeleton should be able to kill atleast a few creeps anyway.
Arcane Arrows
Gives your attack a 35% chance to burn 8 mana from all enemy rangers in 225 radius from where the arrow lands.

Having more than one special arrow type does not increase the chance for getting a special arrow on your attack.

Info: This type of arrow totally ruins your opponents mana. Lets say he does blink and multishot (both level 1, he prefer volley over blink) but misses on you. You fire a normal arrow and miss aswell. However you got the 35% mana burn luck and he got 0 mana left.

This item can be activated and deactivated. When active it will deal 6 damage to nearby enemy units and drain 1 or your mana every 2 seconds. In addition the shield increases your HP by 30 and armor by 10.

Info: If you don't feel like waiting to get Arcanite forged Shield you can buy a imperial shield and later on get Orb of Lightning and end up with Thunder shield.
The recipe is free you just need the two items. It gives as much HP and armor bonus as Arcanite forged shield and Shield of Reflection.
